Here is some detailed information about, an up and coming race at Road America (Round 6). This is the last race in the series for the year.

Here are the results from Summit Point Round 5. Full Race report coming very soon. Thank you to all the Mazda's that came out and supported an all Formula weekend. Everyone did an amazing job racing this past weekend. The field was very competitive really fun to watch. Special thanks to Joe Calasacco for coming out shaking off the cow webs on his Mazda! Also great thanks goes out to John Heckman and FRCCA for hosting an all Formula weekend. Can't forget to mention Jeremy Grenier for throwing a great BBQ hosted by the local vender. Thanks for saying Thanks!

Goodyear will be coming to Summit Point on Friday the 17th. They will be leaving the next day on Saturday the 18th. So you have to call either Bruce Lawrence or Goodyear East (Eric) to make a reservation for your tires for the weekend. They will NOT bring a set amount! they need to know who is coming before hand. So either e-mail Info@thespeedconnection.com Or call Bruce Lawrence @ 919-795-4790 to make a reservation.
The Car Tech FM Challenge Round 4 @ June Sprints.
Road America Race Track.
The Speed Connection team takes the cake on some of the most action packed FM racing you could possibly see.
Join in car cameras with Fraklin Futrelle #97, and Bruce Lawrence #53 for some sweet Formula car racing.

Here are the current points standings after round 4. The June Sprints race video should be done by tomorrow evening. As for Summit Point race weekend. Bruce is working on getting Goodyear to come to the track with some tires. We are still working out the details on that. If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail us. The Cartech FM Challenge is heading into round number 5. It will be held at Summit Point Raceway, on July 18-19th.
Here is a little information about the race weekend. FREE TEST DAY on Friday! Cost for the weekend is $300.00 for 3 days 2 complete races. If 20 cars show up that weekend we will get our own run group for the weekend! Here is a attached registration form to sign up.

The June Sprints Race was a great turn out. Thanks again to Jason Vinkemulder for hosting the Cartech Challenge Drivers dinner party.

Note the 2009 series schedule has been revised. Some race weekends (CMP, and Roebling Road) are tentative for our own run groups. The website will have a FM section, which will include car specs, details, and lap times it's capable of doing. Check back in a couple of days for the feature. Also send us your Sign Up forms if you haven't already, so we can add you to our drivers list.
